Wear THIS through the TSA scanner
The Fourth Amendment printed in metalic ink on a t-shirt so it shows up on an x-ray? Brilliant.
Of course, most people have a bigger problem with the junk-grabbing than the highly invasive body scans but this is still a great way to get your point across.

My Halloween costume: Chrome Dome
Mad props to my wife who spent an hour and a half painting this on my gord (get it? Gord? HA!).
UPDATE
Since my work’s Halloween party, I’ve received some initial feedback on my costume.
Most common comment: yamulka. Yes. It is in yarmulka position. That’s not just because I’m pious. I had it painted there because if I put it on top of my head nobody would have been able to see it (I’m 6’4″). That being said, it may have been worth it to move it because of all the comments.
Second most-often-heard comment? Simon.
Overall, very few people got what it was. Could this mean I’m a bigger nerd than general population?
P.S. This picture makes my neck look extremely small.
The Lower Lights CD arrived
It’s been a while since I’ve bought a full album (Weezer’s Raditude was the last one, I think) and even longer since I’ve bought a physical CD. Glad I bought this one.
While I love the instant gratification that comes from digital downloads, I do miss well thought-out album art/packaging. Fortunately, these guys have it figured out: when you buy the physical CD you get to download the digital album right then and there.
And, bonus: the CD only costs $1 more than the digital-only version.
I wrote about this group here. Their sound is a refreshing, revival-style, bluegrassish (real term). And the talent is real.
