Some ideas for eBooks

Some interesting ideas on how to make ebooks more than just digital copies of books. Worth the five minutes.

I like the idea of making reading more social – or at least giving you the option to do so. Still going to try and be strong and hold off on the iPad until it comes out with a Retina Display though.

What do you think? Good ideas? Do you have any others? Sound off in the comments.

I love many of the ideas on this. The ones I like the best are being able to share a book with friends and being able to see where friends are while reading a book.

Some of his suggestion were good, and I think could/will be implemented in the future. However, some of the suggestions are kinda stange. Like having a armor and health meter for the character of a book. Its still a book, not a game. And I can just imagine someone like Rob lending me a book, and then checking up on me to see how slow of a reader I am. I still want a sense of privacy despite being connected.
