Netflix has its own thing, and it does it pretty well. It's great for movies and older seasons of television shows. If Netflix can convince the studios to release their movies simultaneously on Netflix and DVD, they have that market locked up. Hulu should be for new stuff, which is mostly current television shows. Hulu does other stuff, like indie films or classic movies, and they can keep doing that. But to succeed, Hulu needs to have the barnd new shows, and they need to have all of 'em, not just FOX/NBC/ABC. And frankly, they need to lower the price. The basic streaming Netflix is a buck cheaper, and I think it's a much more valuable service, especially since it doesn't have ads. I think I mostly agree.
