The unofficial BP PR Twitter account

Hilarious.

Someone has decided to create a mock BP PR Twitter account and, dang it’s funny.

Horribly satirical, biting and dark but really, really funny.

Needless to say, BP isn’t happy about this. Maybe it’s because the fake BP Twitter account has 40,000 more followers than the legit one.

The person behind the fake account is still a mystery but gave Mashable an email interview (in character) which is worth the read.

Love it. Found this a couple days before you posted and thoroughly enjoy following them. Yes, the spill is horrible but BP needs to have a sense of humor about their problems or at least the intelligence that the rest of us may need a laugh as their mess gets cleaned up.

I literally just saw this on Molly Wood’s CNet Buzz Report, and it’s hilarious. And the proceeds from the t-shirt sales actually go to helping the recovery. Double-irony WIN.
