Obama wants financial reform? Pardon?
The President passes a highly controversial $900 BILLION+ health care bill into law after bailing out corrupt and/or poorly run companies with trillions of dollars we don’t have, and now he wants to start talking about financial reform?
It might have been more appropriate to look at financial reform before overhauling health care and drastically expanding the reach of the government into private industry. Just a thought.
Ironically, in his weekly radio address President Obama said, “We need common-sense rules that will our allow markets to function fairly and freely while reining in the worst practices of the financial industry.”
Allow markets to function freely? Like the health care and auto industries?
Common-sense rules? Like spending money you don’t have?
The worst practices of the financial industry? How about the worst practices of the Federal government?
